About Me
Hi, I'm Kayla!
I am a 27 year old, Missouri-based, wedding and elopement videographer who has enjoyed filming weddings for almost 5 years now.
I love Jesus. I am a wife, and mother to Bentley and three angels in Heaven.

I feel called to be a wife and mother first, but capturing memories is a close second! I have a passion for intentional and Christ-centered weddings and elopements and believe that is where my abilities shine through the most.
Once you decide to partner with k.dawn films for your big day, you will find that I will always be available for whatever you may need leading up to your wedding! I help with timeline assistance, ideas to help your wedding stand out and be unique to you, etc.
On the wedding day itself, you will find me capturing your day and being your hype girl and new bestie all in one!
I would consider my editing style to be cinematic with a hint of documentary. Wedding films should capture the overall essence of your day and your love story, which I believe cinematic and documentary portray the best.

One of my best friends is a photographer, and she saw something in me that I didn’t see in myself. She pushed me to take a leap of faith and give it a try. I listened. Fast forward to now and I am blown away by how far I have come. I am overwhelmed by the support of my husband, friends, family, clients (past and present), and followers.
